There is no question that there are a lot of businesspeople that can benefit from effective coaching. There are also lots of people that enter into the field of business coaching. Over the years we’ve seen a literally hundreds of people come and go without building profitable practices.
The challenge is to build a hub that attracts business owners and facilitates the delivery of highly effective coaching. Both groups can and will benefit.
The ROCK SOLID Project
is the vision of John Cameron
John has a lot of successful experience in business.
His first experience was as a solopreneur operating a marketing consulting practice that specialized in corporate sponsorships. From there he invested in a partnership that was recognized as the 4th Fastest Growing Small Business in Canada by Profit Magazine. Following that he started a business from scratch and grew it to 25 employees before it was sold for a healthy profit. Along the way he also purchased a franchise and operated it.
Prior to going into business John attended Simon Fraser University and earned a Business Degree with a concentration in accounting.
Experience and education have taught John a lot of valuable lessons that have been transformed into the ROCK SOLID Business Development Program.
Well over 100 business owners have directly benefited from the practical and straightforward approach to business. It is not in John’s nature to be a rah rah motivational type. He prefers focusing on the keys to a business’ future success and the program delivers exactly that.
In 2005 John was selected to sit on the British Columbia Small Business Roundtable. The roundtable is chaired by the province’s Minister of Small Business. The mandate is to make BC the most small business friendly jurisdiction in Canada. www.smallbusinessroundtable.ca
He is active in the business community and has developed a wealth of contacts and great access to economic information.
John has been married for 22 years, has 3 children and has enjoyed living in Langley BC Canada for the past 14 years.
One of his interests outside of work is coaching softball. John took this one step further and raised the funds for North Langley Diamond Sport’s Indoor Batting Cage and Equipment Storage Facility. He also chaired the Construction Committee and brought the project in on budget.
